| My husband has had acid reflux, being treated since 1999 suffered long before. If you are bothered at night elevate the head of your bed. Do not go to sleep on a full stomach. I would not eat at least 4 hours prior to bed time. Breakfast is very important, as is water throught the day. Spices, tomatoes and acidic fruit , caffiene and nicotine is terrible for reflux. My hubsand helps keeps his under control by eating the proper foods and sometimes that does not even help Btw he is only 44. It is also hereditary his brothers and my children have it as well. Remember you must still eat, your stomach acids need something to digest. But eat healthy foods. |
