How to download music to my MP4

I have purchased an MP4 and have misplaced the instructions. The company where I bought it from are not being very helpful so if anyone can please help me I really will appreciate it. I need step by step instructions on how to download my music from my computer to my MP4 so I can finally enjoy it.

basically, connect your usb cable to the mp4 player and the PC, open windows explorer and you should be able to see your mp4 player as another drive letter
now you would copy and paste or drag your music files to you mp4 folder
and they would copied to your mp4 player,
Have you tried to go to the mp4 player website and see if there is a instruction fuide there to download, what is your mp4 player model

also if u got its cd then install its software then do what mentioned above

The disk is so small will it fit in the computer's dvd compartment?

you would be suprised, put that little disc in the center of the cd rom drive and it will fit snuggly where it has to be. then close the drawer and youshould be good to go. There actually is groove set in the drive for small discs, providing the cd drive is not ancient.
