Sharpening shredder blades

What is the best way to sharpen shredder blades? The shredder we have in the office has about a million blades to break up the paper, and I really don't want to sit there with a grindstone for each one. I heard you can put through a sheet of sandpaper... does this make sense to anyone? Thanks.
