I have always struggled with light and shadow so there are many pics of me trying to work out that issue.Thank-you for the compliment as like I said ,light and shadow are my nemesis.

Yeah but a picture like that wouldn't look right clothed... she looks more... 'vulnerable' I guess you would say, being naked

Agreed. I have no problem with naked pictures-- just pointing out that artsy loves doing 'em ;)

Okies, well here's a bit of a taste of mine...

I'm working on a website at the moment, I have a fair few pics on there but I'm still working out the kinks :)

Portraits and Paintings by Sharyl Sward

I would love to learn how to do proper 3D modelling but I think I'm doomed to just being able to make wonky spheres lol :D

Awww shucks.. thanks so much guys :)
And no Artlady, not everyone can do graphic art! I can't get my head around it! Lol :D

I've never really considered myself that 'artsy' until the past year or so when I did a painting for my mum then a friend saw it and got me to do one for her and it just spiralled from there...

I came very close to failing art in high school. My teacher just didn't like what I did so that's what put me off originally.

I went to your site and I love your work. You have an awesome talent.
Clough ,I believe may be able to help you with promoting your site.I have seen some wonderfully talented artists get overlooked because they did not sell their site by advertising on line for free.
If you can get your page to pop up when people link to Google asking for custom dog painting, then your in business!
I wish you the best ,you deserve it !

Thank you, I will ask him about it when the site is finished... I didn't even know you could do that!

I have one site in mind that is a pay one... $8 a month I think it was, and your site pops up on a website (dogzonline.com.au) but yeah, had no idea there were free ones!

    You should do it too!

Teachers ,smeachers, they try to pigeonhole you and get everyone to follow the same path.
That to me is not what art is all about.
I have heard many famous actor's were told by their drama teachers. you will never make it is the biz. Just goes to show you.
