Should she emancipate?

This is a question my younger friend with no email wanted me to ask so here it goes...

"I am 14 and i think i want to be emancipated.I just dont feel any love at home anymore. This all started about 3 years ago when my mom just kind of left all the responsibility of being a parent to my dad.She decides to start a new business with her new best friend Donna. After they found a place for the business things started to get bad.She was leaving for work b4 i woke up and she made it home after i fell asleep. I only ever saw her on the weekends.I was being made fun of at school like crazy and my mom or my dad didnt seem to care at all. They were to busy with there own crap for me i guess idk. Then there were times i would call my mom or dad from school asking to be picked up by either them or my grandparents but they always said the same thing:quit faking an go back to class".I still dont understand why they instantly thought i was faking it but thats beside the point. My real problem is about a year and a half ago my mom went to prison because she stole $40,000 from her work. She was in jail for a year and while she was in there she kept saying how she had changed and things would be different. She has been home for about a half a year now and both my parents treat me exactly the same except everything is now about her.But its not the attention that bothers me its the fact that i am living with a convict.First off she stole money from her work, and while she was gone, instead of trying to take out a loan,my dad cashed in my sister and i's savings bonds and college funds. This is what buggs me.I dont think it is fair that i have less of a college fund now because of my moms mistakes. This makes me want to be emancipated because now i dont feel i can trust any of them.I am about to get a job when i turn 15 at this ice cream parlor down the street that already said they would hire me so i would have a job then, and when it isnt summer i found a job at a community center so i could make money there. I have a place i could stay and a way to support myself and school wise i am online schooled now anyways but i could always go to school from the place i would be staying. Please help."

does anyone think they can answer her question?

Honestly, from what is written here she doesn't have a hope.
There is no abuse or ill treatment, she can't pay her own way, and seems to lack the maturity to look after herself.

Harsh, maybe, but not as bad as a Judges opinion.
