rude people

I've been working for my new job for a year now there is one particular co work who i believe doesn't like me much i've really never done anything to her when i asked the other co-workers they said that she just doesn't like new people but i've been there a year and she always seem to have a attiude with me.(there is newer people there that she is all nice with)which is fine if i'm not her favorite person because she is not mine but i never lose respect or rude. Now her daugther works in the same store in photo she also has been there a while. Today after my shift i went to the back room to get my coat and wash my hands my coworker, daugther, and manager were in there when got in there they all got quiet and the daugther said to the manager very loud if i took the blonde out of my hair would i become more immature since i had my hair a couple of shades lighter i felt like it was directed toward me i didn't say anything because at first i figured they are just jealous but i seems to bother me because i feel that there is things about them that i could say but i have respect, also for the manager to stand there and not say anything . basically should i confront it or ignore it. i have a short fuse and i really don't want to lose my job but i don't like people making comments without actually saying it to my face any advice?

Can you ask the manager why they are treating you like this?

I'd ignore it there looking for a response from you so they can push your buttons more, what I've found very effective is tell them i don't like playing games or hurting peoples feelings.

N0help4u agrees: I agree. I ignore people like that but in my rarer form I might say something like "talk about immature!" when they said something like that

They not only sound rude but immature , just ignore them and smile. Don't stoop to their level , you sound like your a lot better than that.

My first job there were a couple girls that constantly treated me like that.
Sometimes I wish I HAD walked out on the job.
Now I would cause I don't care I won't put up with anything I don't want to
but I am in a place in my life where I can.
Not that I can afford to but I survive.

At your age--look for another job and leave that place the second you are able.
You don't owe them anything.
