How to convicen a 24 year old single Mom that she needs to get child support?

How should I handle this? My daughter 24 lives at our home, just had a baby (she is single) THe baby's father just got his 4th DUI in two years, and he lives with his parents. My daughter was going to dump him, but now that she has this 5 day old baby, she has informed me that she is in love with the dad and he is wonderful and I am to say nothing bad about him. She has no money, says to help him stay out of jail she isn't going to ask for child support. I am upset as I can't afford to support her, and I am concerned. ANy ideas?

Dead bet dads use the "I love you" all the time, perhaps see if she wants to go live with him at thier house ( but leave it open for her to come back when he is not so wonderful any longer.)

But also say that there needs to be a custody order in place for the child and that because he is so wonderful you are sure he wants to be responsible like all real dads would be.
