I know how you feel because the same thing happened to me. Me and this guy were close friends but he liked someone els at that time so i pretended i was happy for him but iwasn`t, the truth is he actully liked me so now were dating.All i did was tell him how happy i was for him but he was the same age as me. I cant tell you that he will like you back because he is 3 yrs older. If you become really close friends like brother sister close friends he might start liking you a little bit. sorry if this doesn`t work for you.
