As a mother I would totally freak out if I found those kinds of notes. I would help her get through these tough times not push her away, but this mom is not a good mom, so you need to talk face to face with a responsible adult about this girl and get her help right away. You know her writing things down like that is a scary thing in the world right now, it could really happpen. I think she is needing a friend like you to get her help, can you go and do that right now PLEASE? What about your parents do they know about this? Can they get her to the right place for help? This sounds very serious, and dangerous. Please go talk to a "good" adult, someone that will do something to help her.

Hello I can see your prediciment and as part of my leadership board I was trained specially for these types of situations. Yes she should turn her mother in for abuse, and yes she should be paid but again this probably won't help because the mom will not pay her and sshe will also deny all charges because the bruising or swelling or whatever will have faded leaving no evidence. Also thought the threat might not sound so serious to you it might mean a lot to her so I would talk to her about it. Just like in schools more then 75 percent of shootings are verbalized by the shooter before hand so talk to her be a nice friend help her get on her feet get a job that sort of thing and just talk to her.

    1. Her mom beating her is a issue, and so you should be happy she is with her dad and perhaps she will be safe there.

    2. if she is making threats of killing anyone, she needs counseling and perhaps need put into some treatment program if she is in need of that much help.

    3. of course parents don't have to "pay" their child to do chores, they can, they can give an allowance, but they don't have to, some level of chores are just suppose to be done by kids.
If you lived on a farm, you would be feeding cows, working on a tractor and a lot of work, and seldom get paid, that is life, and done in most homes.

    4. yes, older teens baby sit their younger brothers and sisters, that is also very normal,

So against you should be glad she is staying at her dads, and perhaps she needs to be there full not, not coming back on the weekend.

Plus if all she lives with is to be with you, she needs to find other things in her life, since as a teen, she needs a lot of things in her life.
You can remain part of it, but no one person should ever be anohers entire life.
