finacial problem

I have little problem. My parents lost their money recently and they are very upset. As I don't want them feel sad or upset, I told them not to worry and I will give some money to them. Unfortuantly they need money for emergency but I don't have much money to give to them. I don't know how to tell them and I don't want to disapoint them what should I do? they need is US$50,000 which I don't have but they think I have saving around that amount. I try to loan from bank but they rejected. Please give me some advice on this..

How did they lose their money?? What kind of emergency do they need the money for?? Have they looked into a Payment Plan??
