career change

Would anyone have any good ideas for starting a new career at age 47? I've been a laborer in factories until now. I'm too worn out for so much physical labor that production workers put out.(if your a worker that is), and sick and tired of not being appreciated for my hard work. I need some kind of income that maybe I can half way enjoy. I'm sorta computer illiterate but learning some. Hell, I got here didn't I? I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

If you are willing to go back to school for 6-12 months, you can probably do a quick course that will set you into something nice. I am thinking about massage therapy, but there are plenty of short courses that could put you into something quick.

Otherwise there are all kind of service oriented businesses you could get into dependinig on your market - anything from dog walking and cat sitting to basket and flower arrangements.

Thank you for your reply. I didn't realize there were courses that short. I figured I would have to go for years. Thanx again PHILLYSTEAKANDCHEESE!
