Quickbase formulas

Anyone?

I am having a heck of a time trying to produce a proper report.

I first want a report that only shows certain [Consultants] I have tried multiple syntax's to no avail... i thought it was something like:

([Consultant] is ("Smith, John" OR "Shmo, Joe"))

I found on QB something saying:

contains([Consultant], "Smith, Joe")

but that didnt work either.

Anyone have any ideas?
