I'm leaving to college pretty soon and I've had several talks to my uncles and cuzins and they all tell to reconsider being a lawyer... but the thing is that I love everything lawyers do I like arguing I like thinking outside the box and I like to investigate but everyone is telling me that its a lot of years and that its really hard. I understand that but its something I really want should I change my major due to what they told me... ? they told me to consider getting into the medical field... I need help I'm confused and lost?!!!???

You are the one that will have to go to and deal with the daily job you choose.
What would you like and dislike about the medical field? Would you be resenting that you did go for that when you didn't want to?
Sometimes you can't please others and need to do what you know is in you.
You could go for paralegal or criminal justice and then further it with the lawyer thing if you want. Being a good lawyer does take a lot of years of college.
