internet related positions

I was just wondering, do you have to have a college degree to work in professional Internet services such as The Facebook Team or any thing that relates to official websites?

Hi, alliesuecat!

You might not have to have a college degree. But, I'm sure that training and job experience in a related field would be helpful.

If you're looking for a job with a team that works on a website, I would suggest directing your inquiries to them as to what the requirements are. They might even have the requirements and qualifications for the same listed in a certain area on the website.

It's not uncommon for people to work in positions that require a high degree of skill, even though they don't have the schooling for them. But, the experience in the related fields and proven ability will carry much weight in the eyes of the potential employer.

Thanks!
