Change in Career Path

Okay long story short, I decided to change my career path again. With trying to start a family realistically going into law enforcement is not the best option for me and my growing family.

Due to past experiences and the knowledge I have I want to become a teacher.

Any grade is fine with me, however I would like to start my schooling soon.

This is where my question comes into play, I live in Texas at the moment and hopefully my little family and I would like to move up to New York. This is our 3-5 year plan.

Where I live most of the schools require a Bachelors which I have come to terms with and want to do.

I am just curious what are the requirements for New York.
