Taking pills

Hello I am currently taking propecia (finasteride) for hairloss. I also take many other pills like vitamin a, e, c , b and other pills like ginko biloba, zoloft, ginseng, multivitamin, beta carotene, and saw palmetto. I think that is it. I was wondering if it would be better for me to split up taking all of these pills throughout the day instead of taking all at once for better absorption into the body. It would obviously be more conveniant if I can just take them all at once though but if it is better to split up all the meds then I will do that. Thank you.

Shouldn't be a problem with the suppliments, but I'd check with your doctor on the Propecia - or any prescribed medicine.

Always check with your doctor to make sure you are not over-medicating. If you are taking a multi-vitamin along with the others you mentioned, a, e, c, b, etc. It is very possible you are over-medicating.

Krs agrees: i agree, if taking multi-vitamins tablets, why take Vit A,B,C tablets individually!

I do not think you need all those multi vitamins and other things you are taking. People in this world are trying to make up for unhealthy lifestyles by taking extra pills they think are healthy for them but could be causing harm.

Not only what Jesushelper says. But your multi-vitamin most likely contains all of those other vitamins you are taking. And, even though they are vitamins, an overdose in certain vitamins can be toxic.

I have been told that certain vitamins cancel each other out. I take Centrum Performance in the AM and was told not to take Calcium with it because it would cancel it out so I take Calcium in the PM. You may want to check with your doctor or google it......
