Bowel movement

Lately, but very sporatically, my bowel movements have been almost pure liquid. I don't think it is diarrhea because it is very random, and only happens once then stops. This is gross, but as soon as I go to the bathroom, it just comes out. I didn't know if it was just my digestive system being off for the day, or something else. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the responses. In response to Luna, I have not had any of those symptoms. In response to J_9, I am not on antibiotics. The only medicine I am taking is Estrostep (type of birth control).

Just a thought, for I do know someone that has such problems...are you coming exhibiting some flu like symptoms? Are you having problems breathing? are you vomiting? Do you have pain in the middle of the abdomen? Check for bladders problems( now remember I am not stating this as a fact but, you may ask that [about bladder problems] question when you are communicating with your doctor, so, contact your doctor). Another question is there blood in your stool?

Along with what Luna said, I would like to ask one other question.

Have you been on any antibiotics in the last few months?

How frequenty are these episodes? Are you having any cramping? Have you changed your diet lately to include some new foods that perhaps your system doesnt digest very well? Sometimes as mature adults we can develop food intolerances and or allergies which can result in bowel elimination changes.

You should consult with your doctor if these increase or if cramping or bleeding occur.

J_9 agrees: Very important to contact your doctor if there is cramping or bleeding. Good call here!!!
