    If your puffer is not giving you at least 2 hours of relief you need to go to doctor or ER. Next visit with your family doctor ask for an asthma protocol to be done. This will let you know when to increase meds when to go to ER or if you can wait for an appointment with doctor.

    It really depends on what inhaler you have been prescribed.
