Why can't I renew my IP

I am new too wireless networking, and I cannot renew my IP address for networking. What should I do about this?

Hi,

Try in comand prompt to type ipconfig/renew normally it should renew your IP address but if it shows this messsage below :

An error occurred while renewing interface Local Area Connection : An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket.

then you have problem with winSock configuration in your computer.
