Can I recall an AIM e-mail via AOL if I sign onto an AOL account with the same screen name and request a recall?

Isn't AIM the AOL Instant Messaging? Not with instant messaging. It is more like text messaging on a phone than email. You can recall emails (providing they have not been downloaded or read) with most POP or MAPI email clients.
