Network Management Tool

We've started using a tool here called VNCScan (located at http://www.vncscan.com) that claims to be able to reboot computers on the network into safe mode and then remote control them with VNC.

Has anyone else tried this feature out yet? I've been having trouble getting it to work but I think that it may be XP firewall related. I'm interested in hearing others experience.

Other than this glitch, the tool is highly recommended, though!!

An MSDN subscription is very expensive and so is SMS. The Bozteck VNCScan tool is only $49 and does everything that we need from a tool like that.

We did resolve that issue by the way. We had the remote registry service disabled on the workstations and that was preventing the feature from working. Now it works great! I can't recommend VNCScan highly enough!
