media state disconnected

I am having problems connecting to the internet. And when i went to the command prompt --ipconfig
the wireless network connections states "media state.......media disconnected
What does that mean? and how do I reconnect?

Is your wireless secure? If so, make sure you are entering the correct pwd.

More details are req'd.. laptop? desktop? last time you were able to surf wirelessly? did you disable all software firewalls (including WinXP)? etc, etc...
