Home network access

I have two computers set up in my house. When I set up a home network, Ican;t access the other computer - although it can access mine. The error message is: " computer is not accessible. You might not have permission. See your network administrator." I don't understand.

You most likely have to turn on file sharing. From windows explorer click your right mouse button on the folder you want to be able to see from the other computer, select properties, then the sharing tab, click the box that says share this folder on the network. If that doesn't work, it gets a little more complicated after that.
