From Eric Wolf's article called Fur Trade and Lesile White's article on Energy and Evolution of Culture, do you think that Lesile and Eric agree that culture evolves? If it is not evolution, what is causing the cultural change for the Native Americans? Thank you!

And yes culture evolves--e., it changes. (How could it not?)

But cultural evolution is NOT the same thing as biological evolution.
