| Spider-Man Related (NOT Main Theme) I've been trying to find out about a piece of music from the Spider-Man cartoon from the 1960s.
Everyone knows the opening track that goes, "Spider-Man, Spider-Man, does whatever a spider can," etc. etc. Also the ending theme is similar.
But there was another track right before the ending theme, which had some compiled animation of action scenes from other episodes. It was an instrumental, and had quite an exciting "go-go"-sounding feel to it, ending on a single bell-like note and fading out to the sound of Spidey swinging.
If I had a decent microphone I could reproduce the notes and upload the file somewhere, as this song is etched in my memory. But alas I do not.
After a tremendous amount of searching many Spider-Man, uh, websites, absolutely no mention of this song is given. The webmasters seem to have no clue as to its existence. One site that had S-M song downloads had everything EXCEPT this song! It's almost as if the sequence was edited out of the cartoon for later syndication because of time limits and nobody in recent years can remember it.
There is only one clue: I read that some music discs from other television production companies may have been used in S-M. One show source was Doctor Who, but this song could not have come from there as it was too bright and cheery.
Anyway, if any of you experts know ANYTHING about the song or whodunit, I would be forever grateful. |
