Rockford Fosgate 500M Amp problems

I shipped a Rockford Fosgate 500m amp to someone and he came back at me saying that when he opened the box there were burnt up resistors outside of the amp inside the box. Is this possible by just being banged around in shipping? I had this amp hooked up and working in my car up until the day I shipped it so I know it was working when I sent it. If you have any insight please help me as they are currently filing a claim against me and I need to decide what to do quickly. I am attaching some pictures of the resistors which he said came out of the amp. Thank you in advance for any help.

I don't know much about resistors but I don't see any way they could get 'burned' in shipping.
Are they cheap and easy to replace or does it mean the speakers are junk?
check what resistors go in the Rockford's and compare them to the ones he said are burned to cut down on the possibility of him trying to pull something.
If he gets any money or new speakers out of this tell him you want your old speakers back as part of the deal.

Use some common sense. Resistors don't burn up during shipping.
