Video has some living female clothing and guy clothings floating around a room, holding hands. at the end of the video someone comes and takes the guy clothes away, leaving the girl clothes by herself and she sits down lonely, but then some stuffed animals come and she's not lonely anymore. I've searched the lyrics on the web and can't find anything. Any help? |
Yeah, I'm a 56 year old white musician who watches Top 20 countdown every week and that video was on for only 1 week debuted at # 20 and never heard from again. Lucky me - I caught the song on my Sony MiniDisc. Of course i didn't get who did it. But the haunting dang thing plays over and over in my car - all freakin' day long. Love It!
Who cares about the video anyway - it's a cartoon, and that went out with Popeye and Heckle and Jeckyl in my youth (1957-1962). But that music... backwards loops, womens voices, swirling reverb, delay, synth hook, chime piano, and the most important thing in music: MELODY. But I guess you're gonna have to contact VH1 for the band. When you find out, let me know. I'll buy the whole album sight unseen.
Here's the what I think are the (English accent) lyrics:
Have a little trouble sleepin'
Get a line desperate for it while
I cant get you off my mind
Easily distracted
Like I'm losing time
I can't get you off my mind
Don't fight this fight
Come stay the night with me
(silence... is undeser-ved)
Usually protective, of this heart of mine
I got to let it go this time
I have to stand my ground now
Too much on the line
I got to let it go this time
(chorus)
(no drums) = Let's sit down and talk about it
(chorus)
Let's sit down...
Let's sit down... silence... is undeser-ved
Let's sit down and talk about it
Let's sit down
