Okay, I'm sure someone will set me straight on this once and for all
I grew up thinking Jim Steinman and Meatloaf were one in the same. I thought "meatloaf" was kind of a "ghost" name, so to speak. I always listened to the Bat out of Hell album etc., but also listened to Jim Steinman's Rock n Roll dreams album, and they should almost identical and some of the same songs were on both albums. I know Jim Steinman wrote some of these songs...but can't figure out why they sound so identical to each other. Life and Death of an American Guitar for example...and even Rock n Roll dreams itself! Anyone care to explain this to me? I've had arguements over it, lol.
