Help with 1930's swing:Kiss me sweet/simple

There is a lost song (at least I can't find it) that was pressed on a 78 that I used to listen to at a neighbors house in the 1950's, and it was old then!
Then, my parents moved, and I've been looking for the song ever since.

The melody followed a classical comosition, but the words were pop-song-cutsy, stolen from a little children's poem or jump rope chant.

The female vocalist was a Marta Tilton type band vocalist, band could have been anyone from Glenn Miller to Kay Kaiser.

Kiss me sweet, kiss me simple
Kiss me on my little dimple
Kiss me sweet Kiss me simple
Kiss my little cares away

Kiss me night, kiss me morning
Kiss me underneath the awning (NO, it doesn't REALLY rhyme)
Kiss me sweet Kiss me simple
Kiss my little cares away

I think the melody came from "The Three Cornered Hat", or maybe something in the opera "Carmen". I have heard the classical melody played very fast with trumpets. This pop version was a very slow swing/dance beat.

It's only been fifty five years that this thing has been in the back of my mind, so there is no rush, but any help appreciated!

Marta Tilton's spelling was wrong.

Try "Martha Tilton", "Kiss me sweet" in Google search. It will lead you to a lot of hits.
