converting to mp3

i have music files RA formatup to 3 Mb or 4mb which can be play for one & half houror more than that. I want to convert these files into mp3 format, so i can play it in car Sterio or cd player after writtig it on cd. Is it possible i can write & play more than 1.30hour music files
please assist me or tell me to down load free version of mp3 convertor
