Cant remember name of song or artist!

Hey guys ive had these few lyrics in my head for weeks now and i just cant remember the artist or the name of the song!! i used to love this song 3 or 4 years ago and just cant remember it or find it. its sung by a man and his name might begin with E! its sort of a love song/heart broken song somthing along the lines of that.... some of the lyrics goes like this......

one day we will meet and baby we could start all over again

OR

one day we will meet and mabey we can start over again

thats just one part of the chorous
