Zipped folder will not extract files

i have this zip.folder that i download with a cool pic in it and every time i try to view the pic it just doesn't do anything and when i try to extract it it says the file skipped unknown compression method

it sounds as though that the software that the file was originally compressed with is needed to extract/uncompress the file.

what is the filetype ?, is .zip, .rar or other type

Once installed, right-click the file and choose "extract here", WinRar opens just about every type of compressed file, if it does not open, then the file is corrupt.

i dont know but i downloaded it, my computers fine, and i virus scanned twice so i should be fine.i guess the people are just idiots
