    Static Problem
I'm having an unusual problem with my PC's sound function.

Namely, when I turn on my speakers, it periodically sounds considerable static and yet in other times, the speakers don't have that sound at all. I don't believe that I moved the wires significantly beyond moving the desk a short distance periodically

What could be causing this? Would it be more likely a fault with the speakers or the sound card?

Hey I was wondering if any of you knew how get rid of speaker static that happens every time I play a PC game or a sound file --but it's not coming from the speakers themselves. Any suggestions?
