Does any-one know of any free software for a Macbook Tiger that'll override the Region lock? My region isn't locked as of yet but I am unclear as to how to use Region X as it warns me I need to get a RPC-1 to set my player to "Region Free" before I can use Region X.
Some people say you can use VLC as well but I am unsure how.
When I insert a DVD of region 4 or 2 into my macbook it automatically opens the default DVD player (Despite me setting the preferences for it not to)
I have Mactheripper but it merely gives me an error when I try ripping the DVD's info and set them to "region free".
Does any-one have any suggestions? Being from South Africa (region 2) and now living in Canada (Region 1) and having gotten DVDs from my uncle in Australia (Region 4) it is rather important I find a way to override this region lock as I know it's possible.

Also, while I'm at it, does any-one have the link to the website that lists the different DVD players and how to set them to "Region free" via the DVD remote?
