Pinnacle Studio 9

Once the movie has rendered and compiled the process seems to stop. There is a prompt telling me that I need to insert an empty disc. Any suggestions as to how i can get my movie to burn would be great!

ive limited experience with the program. not an expert, but i use it for home vids.

usually after editing i save as mpeg to folder. in my documents there is a pinnacle studio folder with projects folder where mpegs get saved. i can then copy these to a disc whenever i wish.

are you talking about saving directly to disc? or problems when creating the movie? be as detailed as you can, and ill go through the same steps and see what i get.

I finish the movie off, ready to bt burnt to a DVD (i click make movie), it Renders and Compiles the Data then tells me to place an Empty disc in the drive, when I do this nothing happens, it doesnt start to burn, the program doesnt crash, it just does nothing at all. Thank you so much for all your help!!

have you tried canceling the make a cd... then just saving as mpeg into the pinnacle folder or another folder, then inserting a disc, opening it, and dragging the saved file onto the disc?

i know, its a pain to go through the steps. i just tried to save some files directly through the pinnacle program at it gave an error. maybe try the long way and see what happens???
