| | | How to convert .ra to mp3? Hi everybody.
I am looking for a software to convert my .ra musics to mp3...
I've found some "trial version" softwares, each of which has kinda disabilities.
I did not find a full version for free.
Do you know one?
Thx in advance. | | | | | | |

| Re: How to convert .ra to mp3? I suggest you try dBpowerAmp Music Converter. It's a freeware music converter that supports real audio decoding. You can download it at http://www.dbpoweramp.com
To get it to convert from .ra, you will need to download their real audio codec. You'll find that under the "codec central" link on their web site. Once you install this, you can quickly convert from .ra to ogg vorbis, mp3, or whatever.
The only problem I can see is that it says you need real audio 8 to be installed to convert from .ra
Don't know if you already have that or not...
Hope this helps...

| Conversion Hi,
Does you sound card program already have a recorder? Not the windows recorder, but one like Creative Labs??
If you already have a recorder, you can possible set it to "record what you hear".
Then, play the music, record it as MPEG, 3 layer, and you are set.
Go to Start/Programs/ and look for your sound card software.
Best wishes,
fredg |

| You may also opt to convert the RA files to WAV using dBpoweramp Batch Converter. Then convert the WAV files to MP3 using iTunes. I have found this easier. Follow instructions below - Ken
First, download dBpoweramp App: dBpoweramp
Second, provided you have iTunes on your PC, here are specialized conversion instructions (half way down page and after FLAC conversion notes): How to convert .flac files to .mp3 using Windows - Simple Help |
