Compatability of Compaq laptop with a Sony Bravia

I have the wire for video link,I must be missing the driver,anyone know where I can get this driver?

Hi there

I take it you want to display from to PC to Bravia screen.
Plug in the Cable. Set the TV to PC mode.
Now on the laptop, press and release the "Fn" and "F4" keys simultaneously.

Let me know if it worked.

Now for sound,I only have sound from the laptop,know of any way to get the TV to sound off for the laptop?

I assume you mean that you're running S-video cable from Laptop to TV.
Unfortunately this only sends the picture and not the sound.
You could run an audio line from the headphone socket to line in on the TV, assuming it has this.

KBC agrees: Yes,thanks,I think that's the only way to get the sounds,,gotta have my bose hooked up somehow,movies just arent the same without it.

Yes,I have the cable and have had it running today,it's just the sound from the comp to the TV I need to do something about,maybe Bose has an adapter to go from headphone jack to the speakers,I don't know.
