    Audio-sync out when burning dvds
CAN ANYONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION ??

No matter what software I try, when I convert a divx file to a dvd file then burn it onto a disc, the audio sync gets progressivley worse as the movie progresses, by as much as 3-4 seconds out by the end of the film.

    ... HELP!.

    Sounds like a codec problem.
Make sure your DivX codec is the latest one.
Latest can be found here: Free-Codecs.com :: Download DivX 6.8.0.30 : DivX 6 Play Bundle and DivX 6 Create Bundle.

Thanks for the reply fella, but I know it's not a codec prob regarding divx as I'm set up for auto-update for divx & my last update was only a short while ago.

Any other suggestions anyone?. ALL IDEAS WELCOMED !!!!

Well in that case what app are you using for conversion.
Also I had a similar issue while converting files, and found saving as a DVD file and then burning solved it.

Seems that the whole conversion and burning process in one hit caused the problem.
    Worth a try.

Like I said, I've tried various app's but they all end up with the same prob.
I WILL try doing it in two stages, but I'm sure I've tried that one too mate..
Do you mind telling me what application you use for the task buddy?

I use Super DVD Creator for the conversion and then burn using Roxio Disc Copier.
