I'm planning of making a cross country move in a couple of years

Okay, like the title said I'm planning on making a cross country move in a couple of years. I'm talking from California to Maine cross country move.

Now, I don't have an actual date set yet, but I'm thinking August/September 2011.

Is there anything that I can do now to start preparing for the move?

I can't think of anything but I don't want to leave everything to do right before the move.

Hello friend,

I will suggest you to give or throw your junk items and try t minimize your furniture,so that your move can become easy.If you are hiring a professional then I don't think you will face any problem in packing and moving and if you are not hiring any body and planning to do it by yourselves then try to collect big packing boxes because they are not easily available and in last time it creates a lot problem so try to collect them.
Rest you have to do at the time of moving only.

Regards,
Nelson
