Okay, this has been bugging me forever, so I've finally decided to ask. The details are really foggy in my mind, but what I remember of the plot is as follows:

There's a young boy who meets an old man who is actually an older version of himself. The old man did some kind of delivery-type job (like milkman, postman, newspaper deliverer or something). I can remember anything else that happened, really, but it did have an eerie atmosphere (or at least I thought it did at the time...).

I watched it as a child, so it probably came out some time in the 80's or 90's (I'm leaning towards the latter), and it's probably aimed at children (though I can't say for sure). Since I watched it on television, there's also a possibility of it being made-for-TV, but I honestly can't remember. Any help based on the vague information I've provided would be much appreciated!

I think you might be thinking of a programme called 'eeire indiana' the boy sets his watch back an hour an ends up in a lost hour. He meets his older self who is a milk man and he helps him get back to real time. The whole series's are wicked!
