Robot Grandma

I watched a movie in 1982 or sometime after that I can not find the named of. In the movie a father and his kids go to a factory to buy a grandma type robot. They picked out her eye color & hair color. She was then delivered by helicopter inside a box. She was to take care of the children & house & was able to pour milk & juice from her fingures. I watched it in 2cd grade but I'm not sure when it was made. I'd like to share it with my kids.

Perhaps this is what you are looking for. It's an episode from the original Twighlight Zone series.

I SING THE BODY ELECTRIC
Writer: Ray Bradbury
Director: James Sheldon
Cast: Josephine Hutchinson, David White, June Vincent, Vaughn Taylor,
Charles Herbert, Dana Dillaway, Paul Nesbitt, Susan Crane,
Veronica Cartwright, Judy Morton

A girl comes to understand that a grandmother can be a tender,
thoughtful, caring, loving woman. Even if she is a robot.

I just want to let you know that I just asked about the same movie... I can't remember its name though... I remember the oj fingers too. It was just nice to know that I didn't dream the movie up...Sorry if I got your hopes up or anything but I just felt like we bonded...

I didn't know if I dreamt it either. This is weird... I feel like there are only a handful of us the world and we just bonded. I've been thinking about that grandma movie for so long with no one to share it with.
