its about a plane that travels throught a... "portal" in the sky, only the people sleeping onboard the plane live, when they land on the other side everything has gone bad, except when they bring that object back into their own plane. what i call chompers come, there an alien race that is eating everything up, they need to fuel the plane and get back through the "portal" before they are eaten, one person sacrifices himself for the rest of the people on the plane.

any help on this movie title would be very nice, been thinking about it for 3-4 months and havnt learnd it
