How did brandon lee die and do you believe it was an accident

I don't see what difference it makes now. There was an investigation but considered to be a stunt gone wrong. He was killed by a bullet, not supposed to be, in the stunt gun; he died from his injuries.

Scroll down to death... It wasn't actually a bullet but a "Squib load" which got lodge in the barrel from a previous use.
20 years prior, bruce lee finished filming of "enter the dragon" before he died. The director went on to make "Game of death" which only had about 15 min of the real bruce.
Then in 1993 "drangon:the bruce lee story, came out which I think was the one where they filmed bruce lee being killed basically the same way Brandon lee was killed...werid
