Okay heres the problem.... I remember this animated movie from my childhood... (I was born in '88') but I dont remember much at all. But for a while I thought it was another version of Pinnochio (Im still not 100% that it wasn't) but I don't think that it was. The movie was scary to me when I was little and I remember there being a lot of puppets. The main character was a boy (Puppet or human IDK) and he liked a girl puppet, who had big blue eyes and blonde hair (Pigtails i think) and perfect blush circles on her cheeks.
I also remember a scene where I believe the main boy character is in an alley with a trickster guy. The trickster has 3 coconuts or shells and is swapping them, trying to get the main character to choose the one with the object (?) under it.
Im not too sure about this part but I think that the bad guy (He scared to heck out of me when i was younger) says Im going to chop you into fire wood I know that is also said in Pinnochio but it may be in this one also.... The cover of the box was dark and I think the movie had something to do with a carnival or circus. Some one please help me. This is driving me insane !!
