I really hope someone can help me find the title of this movie. I saw it on cable in 2002 or 2003.

Synopsis: This young woman worked as a writer for a magazine or something like that in New York City. She had broken up with the guy who was her boss (editor, I think) and she decided to place an personal ad in the paper hoping to meet someone. One of the responses she received intrigued her so she arranged a meeting in a bar. Well, the other person turned out to be a lesbian (this first woman is straight). They ended up hitting it off and the lesbian began courting this other girl. There were funny scenes where the lesbian tried to get this girl alone so she could seduce her. Ultimately, they ended up being together the first time at the straight girl's parent's house in her childhood room. There is more to the story but if someone can either remember the name of the movie or at least one actor, I would be most grateful.
