Alright, here goes. The movie I'm trying to find, is an adventure/fantasy movie, I beleive early 80's or late 70's. What I remember from the film, is a boy who for whatever reason, is living with this old man. The man is training him I beleive, but will not let the boy leave until he is "ready". The boy tries to best the old man, by hitting him over the head with a sword, but each time he tries the sword just breaks on top of the man's head. Until finally one day, he finds a broken sword behind a shelf or something of the like, and he reforges the blade. He stands yet again in front of the old man and swings- this time cleaving the old man in half... This is all I can remember, please someone help? lol...

Sounds similar to first japanese anime film, Magic Boy, except for cleaving part, lol. Good luck.

See, now whats frustrating is that I'm beginning to think it was just a dream lol. I suppose I'll have no idea. Lots of my friends who'm I've asked also, have been telling me "write a book, write a book". Thanks to all the people who have looked at it, perhaps someone will browse it and have the answer for me lol.
