Me again, need help with a tv show...

This time it's a TV Show. I know it aired on PBS. I saw it when I was in the first grade, so it aired about 1989. It was about a soldier who returns from the war. He spends the night in an old haunted house. When his ride drops him off, there a three grave markers (crucifixes) next to the house. When he goes inside, nothing happens for a while. Then all of a sudden, three ghosts or demons or something show up. Anyway, I remember being very frightened of it. Although it was a two part movie I think. On the second part, he's playing cards with them and they angry with him. I thought the name of this was "Jack The Soldier" or "Soldier Jack" but that wasn't it. Please somebody help me and thanks in advance!

It sounds like one of the Jim Henson Storyteller episodes - The Soldier and Death.
