Looking for scifi movie

I am looking For a movie. It is about an alien that comes to earth in the middleages and has an impregnable armor. The movie ends with the alien showing a human how to transfer the armor to him so he can be with a human woman.

While we are at it do you know a movie, where a guy is possesed or something by aliens and goes around disecting cows with a laser knife? I must have been less than 10 years when I saw it, so the details are a bit foggy
