I don't remember very much about this movie... possibly a tv show...but it was about a family that lived in this house that was haunted by a ghost... and I remember the ghost looking sort of like Slimer from Ghostbusters... and all I remember was that they vacuumed the ghost to get rid of it... sorry I don't have more info.... Any help will be greatly appreciated!

That happened in the live version of Casper the Friendly ghost with Christina Ricci. That was a 90's movie. Maybe that's it.

I thought it might have been it, but it was definitely older... the vacuum was older.... aargh! lol driving me crazy.... thanks for the help though...
