a kid and a house

i am trying to find a movies its from the late 80s early 90s its about a kid that runs into this huge house n when he looks at a mirror it breaks n cuts his hand. when the kid looks at his hand, the cut opens n there an eye in it thats all i remember please help me thank you

That sounds like The Gate (1987) with a young Stephen Dorff. The eye in the hand happens somewhere toward the middle to the end of the movie I believe. I own it one VHS, I'm not sure if you can get it on DVD.
